College Soccer

The STFC College Soccer Pathways Program

Playing college soccer is not for everyone. Only the most dedicated players will play beyond High School soccer, however pathways exist for players to achieve that goal. Developing our players into College Soccer players is a priority for South Tahoe Futbol Club.

The STFC College Soccer Pathways Program is organized to help aspiring STFC players get recruited and accepted into college with the help of soccer. This program primarily includes:

• An STFC College Soccer Pathways Family Packet with guidelines, information and resources

• Tri-Annual meetings for presentations, and questions and answer sessions with STFC Staff to explain and explore the college soccer pathway

• Annual STFC College Night in the LTCC Theater with guest coaches from Community College, NAIA, and the NCAAs presenting to our Club families

• Instructions on how to write college coaches, with sample Introductory Letters

• Highlight videos, and how to make them

• College ID Camp recommendations

• College Summer Instructional Camp recommendations

• Eligibility requirements for NCAA, NAIA, CCCA

• Player Evaluation
